I love it long time.
As a more appropriate commentary though... good writing, phenomenal cast, and beautiful special effects, all things considered.

It had everything. It was a cowboy-space-war drama action love story thing. How could it not be liked?

Loved it too (my brother-in-law got the DVD, it has'nt been on German TV yet). Not all episodes were of equal quality, but the average was very good. The movie was also pretty brilliant.

My favorite show in recent times was ROME though. But then I'm a sucker for ancient history (and especially Rome), and it was very accurately done as far as such things go.

Heyya... I'm a big fan of the show too. Just picked up the full series pluse movie on DVD. The character intereaction is so remarkably good that I find the show strangely re-watchable.

Of cource, all you fans MUST know about this, right?

The one major downer about the Firefly season 2 project is that Joss seems a little bitter about the whole thing. I was reading in a resent issue of (I think it was) Rolling Stone where Joss vented a little about how sick he is of the audiance just not getting it. He went on to say he appreisates the fan following and was happy about the DVD sales, but he doubts very strongly that any future Firefly project will get the funding or interest required to actually make it happen.

Hey man, sometimes the most brilliant projects fall by the wayside because of the focussed fanbase. Entertain a few beautifully, but for the most part... We're all browncoats at heart.
